Lerner and Rowe Partner With NHRA and 98KUPD to Offer Discounted Tickets

Lerner and Rowe is not only proud to once again be a marketing partner with 98KUPD and the National Hot Rod Association^® (NHRA) for the 2020 NHRA Arizona Nationals, but also to offer 20% off ticket purchases as a “Thank You” to first responders and members of the military.

For 2020, the NHRA Arizona Nationals – Championship Drag Races hit the track from February 21 – 23 at Wild Horse Pass (WHP) Motorsports Park (20000 S. Maricopa Rd., Chandler, AZ 85226).

Discounted Tickets for Arizona First Responders and Military 

Verified first responders and members of the military can access the discount through GovX.

And since every ticket includes a pit pass, those who attend will get:

• Direct access to the teams
• Time with highly-skilled team mechanics as they service their hot rods between rounds
• Autographs from favorite NHRA drivers

General admission tickets can be purchased online at nhra.com or by calling 800-884-NHRA (6472). All children 12 and under will be admitted free in general admission areas with a paid adult.

Lerner and Rowe and 98KUPD invite you to join us for a packing party hosted at the 98KUPD studios. Currently, there are roughly 1,300 Arizona troops deployed in the armed services. Lerner and Rowe Gives Back and 98KUPD are collecting some of the highest requested items by local troops. We’ll have food trucks on-site for our Veteran and Active Duty service members as well as those helping with the process.

These items include:

• Crew length socks.
• Dental products including: toothbrush, full size toothpaste and dental floss.
• Disposable razors (1-3 packs, in the original packaging).

• Travel-size foot/body powder.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back founder Kevin Rowe stopped by Arizona radio station 98KUPD to drop off a $5,000 check for the 2018 Holmberg’s Heat Stroke Open on August 25th at Talking Stick Resort.

Jim Holmberg shared his enthusiasm regarding the donation by commenting,”…with the Heat Stroke Open coming up on August 25th, this guy is dropping a check off for $5,000. Which will make this the biggest Heat Stroke Open donation to the Humane Society by far in any of the years we’ve done this.”

Holmberg also extended his appreciation for how Lerner and Rowe Gives Back teamed up with the radio station for the station’s annual Operation Hydration water drive. As part of that partnership, we’ve agreed to double any water donations the station receives in a collaborative effort to support the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s summer heat relief campaign. This partnership is in addition to our own water bottle collection drive.
